PSLE English: Practice in Language Use is designed primarily to prepare students in Primary 6 to complete the following components in the PSLE successfully: Grammar and Vocabulary MCQ, Grammar Cloze, Editing, Comprehension Cloze and Synthesis & Sentence Manipulation.

A guide to complete a comprehension cloze highlights the function of open word classes. It will be a useful reference for students to identify the correct words to complete the passage. In the section on Sentence Manipulation, Teaching Points highlight to students the conversion of one word class to another.

For individual self-study, an answer key is provided.
